Media Executive Tim Elombah Arrested in Awka by Nigeria Police Force Over Alleged Petition
A media executive, Tim Elombah, has been apprehended in Awka, Anambra State by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
According to available information, Elombah, associated with Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) an online television network operated by Nigerians in the diaspora was taken from his residence in Awka on Saturday, July 5.
The arrest reportedly stems from a petition allegedly filed by a prominent estate developer.

In a statement released over the weekend by the media organisation, it was confirmed that the renowned journalist was later transferred to the Force Headquarters in Abuja by officers from the Intelligence Unit for further interrogation.
