The management of Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, has suspended two lecturers after a video showing them sexually assaulting female students surfaced online and went viral. Confirming the development, IMSU’s Public Relations Officer, Nze Ralph Njoku-Obi, said the university had immediately constituted a panel to investigate the matter. He explained that the names of the lecturers and members of the investigative panel would remain undisclosed until the inquiry is completed. The panel has been given two weeks to submit its findings.
