Calabar Rovers Football Club, a prominent team in Nigeria’s National League (NNL), has announced the appointment of Christian Okonkwo as their new head coach. Okonkwo succeeds Caleb Esu, who recently joined the Nigeria U-20 national team as an assistant coach.
Christian Okonkwo brings a wealth of experience to the role. Before his appointment at Calabar Rovers, he served as the assistant coach at Solution FC in Awka, Anambra State. Okonkwo will be joined by Obinna Achebe, who has been appointed as the assistant coach.
