Dan Bongino Drops Bombshell Over Epstein Case

Amid mounting frustration over the Epstein case, Dan Bongino reportedly considers stepping down as MAGA supporters accuse Pam Bondi and Trump’s team of betrayal and cover-up.

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino reportedly reached a breaking point on Friday amid escalating tensions surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case files.

Attorney General Pam Bondi had publicly insisted on several occasions that she possessed the Epstein documents and intended to share some with prominent right-wing figures. However, months later, no significant new details have emerged from President Donald Trump’s administration, leaving many questioning the sincerity of those earlier promises.

The situation has driven a wedge between Bondi and FBI leadership. Both Dan Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel had previously assured the public that full transparency would follow, only for an abrupt statement to declare there was no client list and no new disclosures forthcoming. Now, reports from CNN suggest that Bongino is considering resigning over the handling of the case.

This development has fueled speculation and skepticism across political lines.

Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) introduced an amendment to a federal appropriations bill requiring the release of the Epstein files. The amendment passed without opposition, underscoring bipartisan demand for accountability.

“The American people deserve to know the truth about the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein — including all evidence and any co-conspirators of his horrific crimes,” Van Hollen wrote on X.

Political commentator Ed Krassenstein questioned the motives behind the secrecy, asking, “What are Trump and Bondi hiding?”

Investigative journalist Julie K. Brown, who extensively covered the Epstein scandal, expressed disbelief over the administration’s reluctance. “Doesn’t the President have the authority to release these files? Didn’t Dan Bongino also claim there was nothing to see? What am I missing here?” she posted.

Meanwhile, progressive podcaster Wajahat Ali criticized the hypocrisy within MAGA ranks. “For years, right-wing media figures like Dan Bongino pushed Deep State conspiracies. Now, Bongino, Kash Patel, and Pam Bondi are the Deep State. MAGA won’t forget,” he declared.

Frustration is boiling over in MAGA circles. Conservative commentator Rob Coates shifted blame directly to Trump. “Pam Bondi this… Dan Bongino that… Nah bro. Donald Trump is where the buck stops. He promised us the Epstein files, and now it’s a ‘waste of time.’ We were lied to,” Coates tweeted.

Elsewhere, influencers like Ben Shapiro and Laura Loomer continue to demand answers and accountability. Loomer slammed Bondi, calling her “an embarrassment to Donald Trump and his administration,” warning that such figures risk dragging Trump down.
