EFCC arrest Benue aide; The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of Dr. Mkor Aondona, a Benue aide and Special Adviser to Governor Hyacinth Alia on Documentation, Research, and Planning, over allegations of sexual exploitation and cyberbullying.
EFCC arrest Benue aide ; Police Link Rivers LGA Attack to Council CSO and Chief of Staff EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale, told newsmen on Saturday in Makurdi that Aondona was arrested by the EFCC Makurdi Zonal Directorate on Friday. The EFCC cyberbullying investigation follows multiple complaints filed by victims.
According to the petitioners, the Benue aide arrested by EFCC had been recruiting slim and attractive girls for ushering jobs and allegedly demanded sexual favours in exchange for selection.

It was revealed that the victims became vulnerable and engaged in sexual relations with him, unaware that Dr. Mkor Aondona had recorded every sexual act without consent. He reportedly used these recordings to blackmail the victims, threatening to release the videos unless they continued the relationship.
The sexual exploitation case in Nigeria further deepened as Aondona was accused of sending explicit content via messaging platforms, including videos secretly recorded without the victims’ knowledge. Some of these videos are said to already be in circulation.
The EFCC has stated that Alia’s special adviser arrested in connection to this case would be charged to court soon.
