A shocking incident in the United States has gone viral after a woman fatally shot a man who attempted to rob her, despite her initial attempt to help him.
According to reports, the woman, who was later identified as an off-duty police officer, encountered the man and tried to assist him. However, the situation quickly turned violent when he attempted to rob her and even tried to take her firearm.
Witnesses say the assailant told her, “You gotta kill me to stop me,” before escalating the attack. The officer reportedly gave him multiple chances to back away, but when he persisted, she defended herself.
The man was shot and later died at the hospital from his injuries. Authorities confirmed that he had been charged with the crime prior to his death.
