The chilling revelation has left many residents in shock, with some describing it as one of the most disturbing cases recorded in the state in recent years.
Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), in confirming the arrest, assured the public that investigations are ongoing to uncover the full network behind the act. This is not the first time the Nigerian police have uncovered such horrifying activities. In 2021, operatives in Osun State arrested two men for exhuming corpses and selling body parts to ritualists. Similarly, in 2022, police in Kwara State paraded a 24-year-old man who killed his girlfriend and attempted to sell her body parts to buyers.
In another case that drew nationwide attention, a 2023 operation in Oyo State led to the discovery of a ritualist den where human skulls and other parts were recovered.
