According to eyewitnesses, the female student had allegedly spent the night with a suspected yahoo boy in one of the city’s popular lodges. The following morning, she was seen on the streets behaving strangely before stripping herself completely naked.
Videos circulating online show the young lady screaming and running around in confusion, attracting a large crowd of onlookers. Many in the crowd believed her condition was linked to alleged ritual practices often associated with internet fraudsters, commonly called yahoo boys.
One eyewitness who spoke to reporters said: “She came out shouting, then suddenly removed all her clothes and started running. People were saying the yahoo boy she slept with used her for ritual.”
The incident quickly drew attention, with bystanders recording the disturbing moment on their phones.
