Buhari Clears Air on Relationship With Tinubu, Dismisses Speculations
Former President Muhammadu Buhari has dismissed claims of a strained relationship with President Bola Tinubu, describing such rumours as baseless. He reaffirmed that there is no formal disagreement between both leaders despite public speculation.
Garba Shehu, spokesperson to the former president, addressed the matter during an interview, stating that Buhari remains loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He added that those suggesting discord within the party or between the two leaders are misinformed.
Shehu emphasized that Muhammadu is grateful to the APC for the platform it provided, allowing him to serve two presidential terms. “For Muhammadu , he is essentially an APC man and will never betray the party,” Shehu stated.
