A Delta State High Court judge, Justice Anthony Ezonfade Okorodas, has revealed that DNA tests confirmed he is not the biological father of three children from his previous marriage.
Justice Okorodas made the disclosure in a statement in Asaba, where he described the discovery as “traumatic and heartbreaking.”
The judge explained that suspicions first arose during the COVID-19 lockdown when he received information suggesting his youngest child might not be biologically related to him. To clear doubts, he ordered a DNA test in August 2020, and the result, which came in September, confirmed his fears.

Justice Okorodas described the situation as “excruciating” and said it had caused deep emotional pain to him, his current wife, and his family.
“This has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life. The trauma and shock cannot be described,” he said.
Despite the revelation, the judge has vowed to continue supporting the children, stressing that he has raised them as his own and will not abandon his responsibilities.
