Kwetu eSIM Partners with Safaricom M-PESA Super App to Streamline Travel Connectivity
Kwetu eSIM is officially on the Safaricom M-PESA Super App. This will enable Kenyan travelers, tourists, and business professionals access affordable global mobile data directly using their M-PESA balances.
The integration eliminates common cross-border travel hassles—such as hunting for physical SIM cards at foreign airports, dealing with expensive international credit card fees, or experiencing unexpected roaming bill shocks. Through the new Mini App, users can browse, purchase, and activate digital SIM profiles covering over 200 destinations worldwide within minutes.
“Travelers want instant, reliable data without the friction of physical SIM swaps or complicated payment methods,” said Kevin Mwando, GM at Kwetu eSIM. “By bringing Kwetu eSIM into the M-PESA Super App, we are making global connectivity as effortless as sending money back home. You can now configure your travel data package before takeoff and connect automatically the moment you land.”
