President Bola Tinubu has called for stronger collaboration to transform Nigeria’s livestock and dairy industry, describing it as a vital tool for creating jobs, boosting rural development, and ensuring national food security.
He made this call on Tuesday during a meeting with Queen Mary Elizabeth of Denmark at the State House in Abuja. During their talks, Tinubu expressed Nigeria’s readiness to partner with Denmark in key areas such as knowledge exchange, sustainable agriculture, and veterinary health. He addressed long-standing security challenges like farmer-herder clashes, suggesting that such frictions could be turned into structured economic opportunities with the right investments and educational programs.
